Well, it's already March 2011 (it's hard to belive that 3 months have already passed into this new year) but it's true.It seems that our eveyone by sending snow into the city.... even though it's almost spring time. just a few days ago it was minus 4 degrees celcius, then it jumped up to plus 8!!!At least the mountains are hopefully goning to open early so that everyone (including myself) can go snowboarding / skiing.However........... even if you don't ski / snowboard.......... there are a few cool things to checkout this month and next month in the city.March 26 - April 22, 2011 is Vancouver's 125th Anniversary of the Cherry Blossom Festival.There is a Cherry jam (Taiko performance) at the Burrard skytrain station from noon to 1:30pm at the Burrard Station skytrain and coming up on April 2 & 3 from 10am to 5pm is sakura days Japan fair at the VanDusen Botanical GardenCheck out www. vcbf . ca for more information  -Derek
