My name is Greig Baird.I was born and raised in Vancouver, Canada,but I have taught English in Japan, Australia and here in Vancouver.I spent two years teaching children English in Japan for Chuo Publishing Company.It was an amazing experience teaching kids English!!They are so full of energy and enthusiasm, and it made me look forward to teaching everyday!I also spent two years on the JET program teaching in a junior high school,and regularly visiting elementary schools.Teaching forty wide eyed elementary kids was another fantastic experience!!All of them seemed very interested in English,and hopefully will continue their English studies as they grow older.I am know teaching adults here in Vancouver, which I also really enjoy.I am looking forward to using my experience teaching children through the TEC program.This program will give potential teachers the skills to become successful English teachers.I hope to meet you soon, and we can enjoy the English language together!!!
