Farewell to a hockey hero!!
Vancouver’s most well loved hockey player- Trevor Linden –
had his #16 hockey jersey retired yesterday.
Trevor was Vancouver’s captain and played for Vancouver for 15 years.
He led Vancouver to their only Stanley Cup final in 1994.
Trevor always tried his best and played with passion, which made him a
fan favourite. Trevor also helps with many charities in the city and has
made himself part of the community. Vancouver fans were able to
celebrate his hockey career last night with a one hour ceremony before
their game. Now no one will be able to wear #16 in a Vancouver uniform!
We will miss you Trevor!! Go Canucks Go!!
