St. Patrick's Day Parade

March 17th will be St.Patrick's Day!!!
St. Patrick was responsible for spreading Christianity around Ireland, but people these days associate St. Patrick's Day with shamrocks, leprechauns and green beer!! Shamrocks are meant to bring good luck, which has led to the expression the "luck of the Irish".
Vancouver has a large Irish Canadian community, so St. Patrick's Day has become a big day to celebrate all things Irish. There are many pubs around Vancouver where you can drink green beer! There will be a parade in Vancouver on Sunday, March 16th at 11:00 a.m. celebrating Irish culture, so please come and enjoy the celebration!!
